Air Asia Flies To Caticlan, Boracay

Last March 15, Air Asia just launched their inaugural flight to Caticlan, Boracay! Yes, you heard it right. The budget friendly airline that everybody loves is now flying to Caticlan, Boracay.

Philippines AirAsia Director for Flight Operations Capt. Gomer Monreal said, “We are thrilled to be finally flying to and from Caticlan using our big planes or jets after the much-needed improvements and airport runway expansions have been completed.”

Surprisingly, the newly constructed Nabas Apron at Caticlan Airport has nine parking bays with a total length of 1,800 meters single runway making it accessible for bigger and more modern aircraft like AirbusA320s than the smaller turbo propeller aircraft. Thus, we’ll be seeing more of their Airbus A320s iconic red planes at Caticlan that can accommodate upto 180 passengers.

After the ceremony, together with other media and guests– Aggy and I also had the opportunity to fly all the way to Caticlan, Boracay with Air Asia.

DSCF2431 I was so thrilled to be flying with one of my blogger BFF’s, Aggy Nuguid. I never did thought that this would happen, but it did. All thanks to Air Asia! Kudos also to their crew for taking good care of us all throughout our flight. Despite what others have to say, I didn’t feel less uncomfortable. The seats are quite nice and comfy, which has enough leg room for each passenger.
